Who we are

Ubleis Logging is an established, family owned operating company with the equipment, crews and track record to take on real scopes of work across the resource economy.

We invest carefully, keep our word, and build for decades. Our history is in the forest sector. Our capability runs wider: access roads and bridges, hauling and heavy haul, civil and earthworks, and the project leadership that large scopes of work require.

What we do

Built in the bush. Proven well beyond it.

The same crews, fleet and field discipline that harvest and haul timber also build the roads, bridges, sites and corridors that resource projects in the north depend on.

Forestry operations

Full phase harvesting, from planning and access through falling, processing, loading and delivery. Seventy years of it, on steep, remote and variable ground across Western Canada.

Roads, bridges and access

New and upgraded access roads, culverts and bridge installations, and year round maintenance. In a typical year we build or upgrade more than 150 kilometres of road.

Hauling and heavy haul

Highway and off highway trucking across Western Canada: log haul, lowbedding and equipment moves, aggregate and material hauling, water hauling for road building and dust control, freight and camp logistics, and oversize and heavy loads, with our own drivers, dispatch, shops and mechanics behind the fleet.

Civil and earthworks

Right of way clearing, site preparation, stripping and grubbing, drainage, earthworks, and aggregate hauling and placement for energy, mining, utility and forestry clients.

Environment and reclamation

Reclamation and site restoration, erosion and sediment control, water management and drainage, wildfire mitigation corridors and fuel management, and wildfire response support with crews and equipment when communities and agencies need it.

Prime contractor delivery

Experienced as prime contractor on multi employer worksites, coordinating subcontractors, environmental professionals, hauling fleets and equipment crews under one safety system. We also structure joint ventures and long standing agreements with First Nations and their development corporations so partner led teams can take on major scopes.
